Blackberry 9700 Bold2 vs. LG BL40 New Chocolate vs HTC HD2 Leo
A general comparison of 3 popular devices. My main device has become the HTC. While I love bbs, they remind me of work too much. The email and messaging management is flawless. I also have a cheap Curve given to me by my employer. Need to change it up in the evenings and the weekends with my own personal device. The LG is a fun gadget, but not a serious smartphone. I think Telus is not being fair demanding a data plan for this device. I don’t have it anymore. Never could take Samsung or LG too seriously. The HTC HD2 has to be one of my favorite devices of all time. Almost iphone-like, but with a superior screen resolution, superior camera, removable media, and customizable themes. The one drawback is that it does not use 3G in north america (where I am). However, the 2G fairs very well in my city, probably helped by the super powerful 1 ghz SD processor, and when home, I use wifi.

htc hd 2 is not good
@pamadennis I ditched the LG and the HTC a while ago. The Bold2 is by far the best device I have had related to my personal needs. I’m having a hard time letting it go. I wish it could come in the body of a Nokia E72, then it would be the perfect device.
@TheShadowterminator Not sure there is anything bad with it. It is proven however, based on general feedback from different reviews, and my own personal experience as ‘buggy’ or ‘laggy’ vs. RIM or Apple for example.

Before this I had a BB storm 2, but i will never have touchscreen again! Hate it!
Even on the iPhone.
Imagine how hard it is to hold the Chocolate. Carrying it around would be weird since its tall and thin.

Flash support in built in web browser of LG BL40 is available after installing latest Opera Mini. This phone is really comfortably to hold in hands during a phone call. It is also possible to choose from 3G and WI-FI connection for java apps. (I couldn’t have done that in Windows Mobile 6.1). You can also run more tha one app at once. Biggest disadvantage is out of memory message appears sometimes while browsing complicated websites with a lot of javascript, but you can easily turn off js.
I’m really attracted to the Chocolate. I would absolutely love to get this phone. To be honest, I’m just worried about the touch technology they use. I have a Viewty, and I played a lot with my friends’ Arena, and I have to say I find the Arena MUCH more difficult to type with. That’s because of it using heat I think, so you can’t type with ur finger nails like I do on my Viewty for more precision and speed. But most importantly, the 3.5 speaker/head phone jack! OH YEAH!

i know the HTC HD2 is the best of this 3 and the bb are so fast and clasic but in my opinion i need the bl40 bescous can cost round 250-300 € and have a godd prestations.
