this phone does everything except talking to people…

@ProPhresh the bold by far I was originally a windows mobile user and switched to a blackberry its ALOT better.
does this phone do youtube
@davion23459 He said it’s more cramped than the original Bold, which it obviously is due to the dimensions of the two devices.
i can’t decide which is the better smartphone. touch pro 2 or blackberry 9700 both for tmobile. forget about what i need on the phone, which one is just plain better?
the keyboard is NOT cramped at all. its a nice sleek keyboard! dont listen to what this guy is saying…
can you please tell me what camera did you use to record this video ? the quality of the image is great. I might want one. The brand and model please if you don’t mind. Thank you !
will i be able too get my tmail on this from my sidekick 2008?
Great video. Best I’ve seen for the Bold 9700. Thanks!
Hey, nice video!! Do you have a gmail email? If you do, did you try any gmail app or did you setup your BB for gmail? Just wanna know if it works well or not
You can win BlackBerry Bold at Gifter7[.]com. It’s your lucky day! terrific video…
I haven’t had any problems with the chrome. It may get scratched and/or dinged if you abuse it, but no peeling that I am aware of.
does the chrome eventually peel off like on other phones aka the verizon voyager??
The keyboard is fine and very usable. It’s a tad smaller than the original Bold 9000, but still a great feel. The key design is awesome for a candybar handheld. The ridges help a lot and it may be more of a finger nail than a finger tip keyboard depending on how large/small your fingers are.
my biggest concern is the size, but i hear the keyboard still works fine. Did you find the size to be an issue when using this phone?
Most smartphones do take a long time to turn on and load everything and BlackBerry devices are no exceptions. The Bold 9700 feels a bit faster in loading than the BlackBerry Tour in my experience. If you just power off by holding the Power/Call End button, it turns back on in a snap. With the battery out and then turning it on takes longer. That is only reserved for when the device freezes, and I have yet to experience that.
does it usuallly take that long to turn on?
ok lol
thanks for the info
It may be just my unit and isn’t indicative of poor performance or quality; my unit works fine and doesn’t feel any different and that doesn’t affect performance at all. It may be that the keys were on two tight; I am not sure as I am not an engineer. Overall, it works fine and it may be just a fluke.
okay…. im not sure im gonna buy this now xD
never
Good review. I’m debating between mytouch, Cliq and the Bold. Can you tether to laptop with the bold? I have the old dash and what I like is I can tether with my laptop without neededing to buy a datacard. You recommend the bold?
Does anyone know when they are releasing the Bolfd 9700 for Verizon Wireless?
