I have a sidekick 3, but I am planning to buy the blackberry pearl phone. Do the features of the sidekick unlimited plan (such as unlimited emailing, internet access, and texting) work with a Blackberry pearl?

Nope. The Sidekick and the Blackberry plan are two different plans. You would need to call T-Mobile Customer Care when you buy your new Blackberry, and have them switch you over to the Blackberry unlimited plan.
