Does blackberry messenger work without internet connection?
I have a GPRS blackberry, not WIFI. I have been trying to connect to my friends on bbm, but they say they havent recieved the option to accept me..
Do i have to be connected to the internet for it to work? As i havent got the internet options set up just yet.

BBM requires the data plan (internet).
Unfortunately you will need to subscribe to a Blackberry data plan if you want to use the messenger functions.
