How do you export Contacts from your computer to your new Blackberry?

This is considering you’ve already moved data over from the old blackberry using desktop manager (but not including contacts) and you only want to move the contacts from MS outlook to the BB. The contacts can either come from MS outlook or the saved .pst file on a memory stick. What’s the easiest way to do this?

u cant darling
Yes you can. Youve just got to set it up to sync. On the destktop manager(dtm from here out) make sure you blackberrys(bb) plugged in and it says connected at the bottom of the screen. If it doesnt then go to options on the dtm, click on connection settings, then detect. The little box that pops up just push okay and it should detec it. Keep pushing ok untill you get back out the the main dtm screen.
Click on intelisync or syncronize(depending on your software version) and if intelisync click on configure pim and if syncronize click on the configuration tab and then click configure sync.
It will open up a menu with address book, memo pad, calandar, and tasks. Everything that you want to sync with your outlook put a check in the box and it will pop up in a window and ask you to choose application. You’ll pick the app you use like ms outlook, ms outlook express, lotus notes, etc, and click ok.
After you get all of those checked click ok and it will take you back to where you first clicked on configure. Go back to they syncronize tab where it will say syncronize now. Before you click on it, make sure that the boxes to the left of it are all checked. If they’re grayed out dont worry, it just means it doens apply to your phone. After that, click sync now.
It should sync and after its done check your bb and your outlook to make sure everything went over right. If it didnt you may need to uninstall and reinstall dtm.
Just so you know, dtm was made to sync with outlook first and then they added on the other features so it definantly can do it. Good luck!
