I have at&t and my 2 year contract runs out soon. I was wondering how much it would cost per month if i got a blackberry curve with just email, texting (200 per month), and obviously the phone (800 minutes). Also is there a difference between the blackberry and blackjack?

well common sense would tell u that if u called, looked online or went into a store, that would answer u questions….and a blackberry and blackjack are made by different manufactors and can do different things…if u get a blackberry ur gonna need a data package cause it is always downloading updates and data and could get expensive if you was paying as u go…
First… HUGE difference between the blackberry and blackjack. The Blackberry is designed more for enterprise environment. It has a proven reliable operating system that doesn’t ever lock up but lacks the toys/goodies you can get for Windows Mobile devices like the blackjack which are known to lockup on occasion.
Now with blackberry normally requires connecting to a blackberry server (normally provided by your employer) and usually costs more top operate.
I have a work provided blackberry curve and love it. Not one lockup in two years. Prior to the two years I had a sprint treo 650 and 700 which had two different issues. the Palm version of the treo had horrible phone service but never locked up. The 700 series was running windows mobile and locked up all the time. So Verizon moved me to the Motorola Q and it was honestly the worst phone I EVER had with constant lockups and now I have the ATT Blackberry Curve and love it but work is moving us to Sprint (YUCK) and also trying to save money so forcing us to use Windows Mobile so I’ll probably get the treo 800w hoping things have been fixed in the past two years.
Depends on your voice plan – but unlimited data usually runs $30 with most major carriers. Blackberry is far better. The push technology is better, quality of the device and the ease of typing.
