@srfrosty yes install the new OS manually. First wipe it by watching my video on JL CMDR. Then install the OS by watching my video on Install Blackberry OS using Command Prompt
Hey can you please help i have this problem but i got to the point where it says usb unknown and then you press next but it says “The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device that you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator.” Any idea how i can get the software or do i have to contact the people?

with the constant reboot you need to do it this way.
you have to keep retrying until it works – timing is everything
when i tried to upgrade to the 4.5 OS it did the constant reboot and so I did the JL CMDR wipe (see the video for that) and once I did that the phone was blank so since it wasn’t rebooting I was then able to do this next.
I managed to get my hands on a blackberry 9000 and i have tired everything possible to restore the phone but nothing i do is working. The problem with the phone is, it’s not turning on but when connected to the computer it keeps restarting non-stop. I tired restoring the phone without the battery attach and yet nothing happened. When connected to the computer, red light comes on and then the screen comes up with the battery icon showing up as charging and that is it. it then keeps restarting

my blackberry died yesterday and i wasnt able to charge it til now. its been connected for over an hour and it dosnt turn on. the red light just stays on but nothing else happens? any answers or help????????????
my bb storm is saying reload software 507 and when i install the os nd run the destop manager or app loader it get stuck at Uploading ram IMAGE for a long time nd my phone screen be black nd the led light blicks red like every 1o secs any help ?

hey i followe dthoes instructions to the t and every thing worked for my stom, but rite at tha end it tells me connecting but then it says error ..somthing bout cant use or find port..can u help???

yo can u help me man. recently my phone dies out like,,i try to recharge it doesnt do anything still and i take out the battery and reput it back in and it shows the loading screen then dies out it again..this use to happend when i call my friends and i dies out on me.. so please can you help me

my fucking blackberry curve wont boot,i just get an hourglass,then it goes back to a black screen then starts up with the hour glass,then switches off again and goes on & on like that,help!!!
yes. your bb is broken. if you try to use it when it is water damaged, it is ruined permanently. If you bought a water-damaged one off ebay or somewhere, thinking you can fix it, you just got scammed, that’s all.
dont get to 10 or youre done.
try reinstalling the OS or reverting to factory. you will most likely lose all your data.
