I managed to get my hands on a blackberry 9000 and i have tired everything possible to restore the phone but nothing i do is working. The problem with the phone is, it’s not turning on but when connected to the computer it keeps restarting non-stop. I tired restoring the phone without the battery attach and yet nothing happened. When connected to the computer, red light comes on and then the screen comes up with the battery icon showing up as charging and that is it. it then keeps restarting

I tried the steps. Worked well at first but I could not get past “loading applications”. I get an error message that says “application loader was unable to connect with your device”. Please help!!
im having a similar problem with curve 8900. i only have red blinking light. shall i install the 8320 OS?

my blackberry pearl flip phone ,,, doesnt light up at all ,,, the red led light just blinks like every 10 seconds i tried this out and tryed using desktop manager both come up with same results failure i cant initilize the device it says “wait for device intilialization” it says unable to connect after trying for a long time the phones brand new battery works fine in other pearl flip but this one seems to not want to do anything ive tryed almost everything can anyone help. screens dont lgith up

@Vardzkartel You’ve got to be *really* quick when doing that step, The device will auto disconnect itself once the OS / background operating system begin to initialise.
every time i click next it disconnects from the usb?

Why will a laptop not work?
I have a blackberry 8900 it recently fully discharged and I was able to charge it. At that point I backed it up onto my computer and it was working fine. All of a sudden now won’t turn on. There is a battery symbol on there and no matter what I do it’s not turning on. Any suggestions. I’ve tried this and it didn’t work.
