The shake and tilt iPhone clones were a huge success. The manufacturer took all of the best features of the iPhone and added dual sim, a removable battery, additional speakers and the ability to change video, photos, music and wall paper just by shaking the phone. Also, when you want to switch the phone from portrait to wide screen, you only need to tilt the phone.

There are many of these clones on the market. Examples are: the HiPhone i32, the CECT A380i, A88, and the A8+.

The latest releases (the LH01 and the SciPhone) are very similar to the first wave models. However, they differ in a few ways. Using the SciPhone as example, it is much thinner, smaller and sleek. That’s why these clones are sometimes called “mini HiPhone” or “mini iClone.” These phones appeal to people who love this technology, but want a smaller version of it.

Additionally, the manufacturer has added the latest edition of Java to this phone, enabling users to use MSN, Office, PowerPoint and thousands of other downloads and games. An E-book reader and FM radio has also been added. This one is also quad band which means it works almost everywhere with any carrier worldwide.

All of the features that you would expect from the clones are including: a 3.2inch touch screen; dual sim slots; slide unlock; a 1.3 mega pixel camera which also serves as a webcam; Bluetooth 2.0; full MP3 / MP4 capabilities; web browsing, emailing and texting via GPRS and WAP 2.0; and 2GB of memory.

The SciPhone is also known as the i68 or the Y32. I have personally found that the small size of this phone is very deceiving. It’s a little powerhouse and its super fast. The sound system is wonderful. It’s very high functioning and intuitive.

I wish they had also upgraded the camera, but it does take surprising nice pictures. Had I not known it was 1.3, I would have assumed a 2.0 MP. I really love the e-book reader because frankly the only time I ever have to read e-books I download on impulse is during unexpected downtime.

Price wise, this model starts at about $150. I find that to be more than fair for a sleek, stylish phone with all of the features of this one.
