What are the best types of pesticides to use on a tame blackberry bush?

My mother has a three year old tame blackberry bush that is blooming for the first time. Baby blackberries are developing, and mother discovered a green worm eating the fruit yesterday. She’s not a happy camper, I might add….:( My question is, what type of pesticide can I use to get rid of the worms. I need an answer as soon as possible, before mother decides to wage war on the worms and end up killing the blackberry bush.

Good old Seven Dust is usually pretty safe. You can find it at just about any store that sells garden items. Just remember to wash the fruit thoroughly!!! You can usually find a dust or spray that will be safe on fruit/veggies. Good luck! We’re nursing a red raspberry bush that has finally decided it’s alive this year! (We planted it like 3 years ago.)
Bacillus thuringeinsis. It is deadly on worms, but not harmful to pets or humans. Your garden supply store should have it.
